Cover art for my yaoi novella, "Pawprints"; Loose Id, 2007.

Hand-drawn pencils on A4 paper. Credit for the logo goes to my kitty, who behaved nicely long enough for me to stamp her paw in food coloring. :)

Oh wow. Definitely one of the most beautiful covers I've ever seen. And kudos to your cat! Great job both of you!

Heya! I'm also a writer, although I write paranormal erotica than yaoi, but I saw your cover on the LooseID site and thought that it was a VERY sexy cover! :) Keep up the good work!

I'm a SUPER ASIAN!
Oooh, that looks gorgeous

I love the things I draw, but I hate it when I try to draw. I need to wait until my ideas sit so long they're screaming as loud as they can for me to let them out, then I let them slowly ooooooooooze out onto the paper.

Mmmm, ooozy idea paper.
I saw this on LooseID and completely stopped what I was doing to see what it was about, I love the cover it’s gorgeous in every way. Did you by chance base Lal of Hatsuharu Sohma from fruits basket? They look exactly alike in everything but the eyes. Anyway I plan on buying this novel as soon as possible it looks awesome!
Oh...thank you so much! :blushes: And in a way Lal is based a little on Haru. :D My sister adores Fruits Basket, and when I first showed her some character studies for Lal (who was originally a calico), she suggested Haru's black and white combo for his hair.

If you do check out the book, I hope you enjoy! It's silly and fluffy, but sweet also.
